Is n8n free for commercial use?
n8n's self-hosted community edition can be used for internal business automation without per-task fees; you pay only for the server it runs on. Some uses, like reselling n8n as a service, need a commercial licence, and n8n Cloud is a paid hosted option.
What does self-hosting n8n really cost?
Typically a small virtual server, plus a little time for updates and backups. We set it up with backups and monitoring, or recommend n8n Cloud if you would rather not manage a server.
What kinds of workflows can you build?
Lead routing from forms to CRM, invoice and document processing, scheduled reports, customer notifications, data sync between tools, and AI steps such as classifying emails or extracting data from PDFs.
What happens if a workflow breaks?
Every workflow has error alerts and retries. You get notified with the failing step, and on a retainer we fix issues for you.
